You can use a tray to whiten your teeth for 30 to 60 minutes. You do this on a weekly or monthly basis until your teeth acquire the whiteness you desire. Once you achieve your desired white shade, it is good to continue using the tray at least once a month to maintain your teeth s whiteness.

Compared to using teeth whitening toothpaste or teeth whitening strips, using trays can be a bit uncomfortable. However, they are more effective than whitening toothpaste and strips. The main advantage with using trays is that you use them for only a short amount of time each day. You don t have to do multiple brushings or strips. For just 30 minutes a day, you can easily whiten your teeth.

While laser teeth whitening or the traditional bleaching done by a dentist is far more effective than the home teeth whitening trays, it can be cost prohibitive. If you are on a budget, using teeth whitening trays is a more practical solution. It may take a while for results to show, but you will eventually get the whiter teeth you want.
