Many people equate having an acne problem with the teenage years, and it is true that the vast majority of those that suffer from acne are in their teens, but there is a surprising number of people that also suffer from adult acne. Adult acne is a problem that might come on during the adult years, but it also may be that a person has an acne problem in their teens and it just never quite goes away. There can be a variety of underlying problems that can cause adult acne. The skin is the largest of our organs because it covers the most area on the body. Often when something is wrong in the body it shows itself in the skin. This is commonly seen as a rash, or even as acne. Therefore, finding out what the underlying cause is of your acne can go a long way in helping you to overcome the problem. But until you are able to ascertain what it is that is causing your problem, try this treatment.

Mix some organic sea salt into a small bowl of vinegar, don t use too much sea salt. Then spread the liquid on your face using cotton balls and allow it to dry. Try to get over the smell of the vinegar, the drying effect will soon make it worth your effort. After about a half hour rinse your face. Repeat once or twice a day for maximum results.
